CS5 11.02 patch failed.

Hello,

My copy of Fireworks shows it is build 11.01.7. So, I downloaded the windows patch as indicated at the head of this forum. Oddly, despite the download for Windows saying it is around 16mb in size, the actual download size is the same as that indicated by the MAC patch!!!

And, yes, I did check 3 times I was downloading the WIndows patch.

Regardless, I ran the patch and it stated it was the 11.02 patch. All went well. I was informed by splash screen at the end that it had been a successful update.

However, Fireworks still maintains the version is at 11.01.7

Doesn't it update the version number in Fireworks?

Thank you for the information. However, just to confirm, I read the following at the link provide:

Please note that the Application package has not been changed from what it was in older update(11.0.1.7) the application version also remains the same (11.0.1.7).Only the update shows version as 11.0.2 though internally it is same as 11.0.1.

Does this mean that the ABOUT splash screen when Fireworks is running won't show 11.0.2, instead it will show 11.0.1.7 even though the 11.0.2 patch has been applied?
