I have an hour long presentation video that I am trying to relink the media (it's all on a new computer)
When I try to relink the 1hr long clip to one of the files in my P2 card folder, it only relinks one of the clips from it, so basically I only get 10 minutes of the hour long presentation relinked, and it cuts off... After Effects won't let you select multiple files to relink to one footage item.
How can I do this? Thanks all!
How are these pieces seperated?
One thought is to make a composition that has all the new clips laid out in it (essentially put the clip back together), and replace the instance of your clip on the timeline with the new comp.
Oh, sorry, I was assuming that everyone would know what I meant... hehe...
Um, well P2 cards automatically split everything up into separate audio and video folders, and then divides each clip into ~4GB segments because of the way P2 handles the media, but these have to be stitched back together properly by software that recognizes the P2 files, which Premiere and After Effects do, but I have this footage dynamically linked from Premiere Pro into After Effects (In Premiere I replaced Footage with After Effects Composition, and maybe that's where the hangup is....
can someone help?
