I'm starting a fresh project and want to do everything possible to keep compiliation times down. I've read some old material that suggested using a separate module for assets. Does anyone have any experience with this or any other asset optimizations? Most of my assets are images used inside skins.
Any advice on how to best organize a project to improve compile times would be appreciated. In the past I've tried to do this once a project is fairly mature, and it's not really feasible.
