Power kernel could be a myriad of things, but most likely PSU related.
Open GL is most likely PSU or video card related.
Bad block is HDD related, but that can again be caused by a bad PSU.
I would start with the PSU in troubleshooting.
A consistent symptom is flasing small red squares like bad digital signal just before freeze up. Display in event viewer black jaggy interference artifacts. Gpu?

That looks like a video card problem. I don't envy you, as this is a difficult problem to solve. Can you run CPU-Z and export the results to an XML file and attach a link?
Great idea, thanks ... I'll do that.
Everything was peachy keen at first. The benchmark went well, I loaded up my show and all was playing nicely. (HD xdcam footage from JVC HM700
I really wonder if I screwed something up here updating drivers.
Could resource conflicts be a culprit?
Whew .... I think issue(s) are resolved.
I suspect initially I had an audio driver conflict causing freeze ups.
Next I got confused on my onboard Marvel raid needs and installed an extra driver.
I uninstalled but crapola remained and I used Driveseeper to clean things.
So far so good! Wow ... I can actually edit today!
