I have made a nested animation within a movie clip, but it doesn't show up frame-by-frame in the timeline.. is there a way to make it appear in the timeline?
I need to take a photo of my screen with each image on it for a stop motion animation project for school... I tried exporting a series of still images as a workaround, but for some reason the data from the nested animation also fails to show up in any kind of movie export.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Create the animation as a graphic symbol and extend it along the timeline for the number of frames it has. When you move along the timeline with the scrubber you should see the animation frames.
I converted the movie clips to graphic symbols and it solved it.. the nested animations now shoe within the timeline, and are able to be exported!
Edit: Just saw your post Ned, thanks very much for your help.

Ah yes, just click on another layer! Its late here.. or early rather...
