1440x1080 is a measure in non-square pixels, Miss Moppett.
When you bring in a square pixel image (such as a photo) it should be 1920x1080. Then it will fit perfectly in the frame.
Do you never sleep?
Well . . . it does and it doesn't. Pulling it into the Monitor Panel it doesn't, but clicking as a Preview it does. Still perplexed.
Me too. What happens if you right-click on the still photo on your timeline and uncheck Scale to Frame Size?
(Better yet, go to Edit/Preferences and turn off Scale to Frame Size permanently. It gets in the way of a lot of work.)
Meantime, if that doesn't work, you can always just click on the picture in the Monitor panel and drag on its corner handles to stretch it to fit the frame.
"Me too": does that make me an Expert? Well right clicking on Sceneline "frame to fit" does bring it up just past the inner frame but not the second. Odd. Guess I'll just have to accept that and hope when I output it does fill the frame. Thanks for your help.
