John T Smith Aug 18, 2011 10:16 AM (in response to arigoldrama)Have you tried dragging one of the files on the NEW ITEM icon to be sure your sequence matches your file?
See 2nd post for picture of NEW ITEM process http://forums.adobe.com/thread/872666?tstart=0

2. Re: \src\timecode.cpp error with mp4
arigoldrama Aug 18, 2011 10:46 AM (in response to John T Smith)I tried and I got the same error and crash.
I re-encoded one of the problematic files with a constant framerate and it works, so the problem was the variable framerate

John T Smith Aug 18, 2011 12:17 PM (in response to arigoldrama)I use VBR when creating a DVD in Encore and it works... so I will guess that PPro is just not designed to edit VBR

bechsu Nov 11, 2011 8:40 AM (in response to arigoldrama)I am having the same problem. How did you re-encode with a constant framerate? Is it an audio or video setting? I cannot tell which setting to change in Handbrake (version 0.9.5). Thanks!

5. Re: \src\timecode.cpp error with mp4
arigoldrama Nov 11, 2011 1:09 PM (in response to bechsu)video -> Framerate (FPS): 29.27 (or whatever you need, just don't leave "same as source")
leave "Peak Framerate (VFR)" unchecked

Garlic Suter Nov 29, 2011 10:35 AM (in response to arigoldrama)Ah hah! Thank you. It was Handbrake's framerate. Changing it from "Same as source" to 29.97 worked perfect.
