1. Re: How do I burn changed subtitles to DVD?
Bill Hunt Aug 18, 2011 5:03 PM (in response to janled)IIRC, there was a Bug, when subtitles were changed. The trick was to change the font, then change it back, and the revisions would update.
Good luck,

janled Aug 19, 2011 12:30 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)Thanks - I did something else before getting your email - I completely deleted the individual subtitle clips I had edited. I typed new ones in very slightly different locations, i.e. starting a few frames earlier / later. It seems this time Encore noticed the changes and the new versions of the subtitles were burnt to the DVD. I am sure your system would work as well. Jan

4. Re: How do I burn changed subtitles to DVD?
joec925 Aug 25, 2011 7:50 PM (in response to janled)This is one of the many Encore bugs. I use CS4 and W7. Have had the problem several times both DVD and BD.
I saved the subtitle as a text file; opened PPRO: used dynamic link to send the sequence to Encore; brought the saved subtitle data into the new Encore project name and all was ok. I also had a strange thing with images. Loaded an image file into Photoshop (not via Encore). Made some changes and saved them. Change appeared in PPRO and Encore. Did a build. After the build the image that was updated in Encore had reverted back to the previous version and was the one used to build the disc folder! Again the only way to "fix" was to export the sequence again from PPRO which meant a new Encore project and reload the subtitles.
