emilycornfield Aug 18, 2011 3:42 PM (in response to Grant H)I am using the guides as a basis for a grid framework, which sometimes I might change after starting a document. I was hoping for something a little easier.

MTSTUNER Aug 18, 2011 6:26 PM (in response to emilycornfield)For better placement of the guides, try changing the
ruler units to percent before recording the action.

6. Re: Any way to save guide set to use again?
emilycornfield Aug 18, 2011 6:44 PM (in response to Grant H)Thanks-this is great, except I'd like to apply it to a document I already have. Is this possible? At this point when I run the action it opens a new document. I'm not experienced with actions, so maybe it's not set-up right?

7. Re: Any way to save guide set to use again?
emilycornfield Aug 18, 2011 6:47 PM (in response to emilycornfield)Never mind, I just fiddled with the actions and it looks straight forward. I just deleted the new doc step and it performed the grid on top of the current document I had opened. Just what I wanted! Thanks for your help!
