I have just upgraded to adobe read x and now when i open PDF documents from websites, they are not able to open. I get this message: There is a problem with Adobe Reader/Acrobat. If it is running, please exit and try again. (1:1). I'm not sure what this means and i can't seem to solve my problem. All PDFs located in websites are currently unavailable to me. Please help!
We have figured out what the solution to this is. You will have to uninstall reader X and then reinstall it. At that point, everything worked fine. Not sure what was causing the problem, maybe a bad upgrade or something like that, but this process has allowed me to open PDFs from websites. If you get the error with (1:1), i would try this.
