    Unwanted Image Frame

    Jack Level 1

Not sure of my terminology. When adding an image to a page, the image often is accompanied by what I call an image frame that is much larger than the image, often extending to the border or margin of the page. The frame must then manually be dragged to snap into the edge of the image.

Is there a preference or other setting, or perhaps a better procedure for adding an image (I use Cmd+D) that will avoid this tedious set of maneuvers, and snap the frame to the image boundary to begin with?
