    Printing gobbledegook!

This is my first post so I'm hoping to get some help please.

I'm using Reader v10.1.0 on winXP with Canon Pixma 4300 printer.

For some reason when I print a pdf it sometimes just prints pages of gobbledegook - it's totally unreadable and just a whole load of hieroglyphics! Sometimes it's just certain pages within a document, sometimes its the whole document and other times it prints everything OK.

Generally, if I reprint the bad pages they come out OK but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 attempts. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to this, just a sort of random error but it's really annoying and wasting loads of printer ink.

Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do about it?
