    Creating Background

    volcamp
I am very green, so please excuse me. I manage a youth sports team and wish to create a background for our web pages using cutouts from our game pics and making a semi transparent blend to create a background. Is there a specific tutorial available on this matter or some means of help for the Fireworks challenged? Thanks for any help you can provide.

hei volcamp , try to locate the layers panel. select the object , the pic u want and so forth , theres a portion there which lets you able to control the opacity of the object in the layer, try to set if from 100 ( default ) to 50 to 80. You may also want to change the blend mode of the object or pic. Hope that helps

You could also select the image and go to Commands > Creative > Fade
Image to give you a graduated fade from opaque to transparent in the
            selected image.
