    request tip on automation

I have a comp which slides in a 4 second video in 3D, with a mirror reflection.  I want this to happen 10 times with different clips.  How is the best way to do this--make ten copies of the comp and substitute footage on each?  If so, how do I substitute footage?  Use a placeholder? or Proxy?  Is there any way to create a "drop zone."

      Thanks in advance...

You replace footage by selecting the layer in the timeline, then select the replacement in the project window and hold down the Alt/Option key and drag to the timeline.

There are no drop zones for this effect exactly, but you could write or look for a script.
