In Titler, I have never seen an Eyedropper, but then maybe it was added to a later version, than I have.
If you are trying to duplicate the color of Text in Titler, you can get the color, by highlighting that text, and then you will see that in the Color Palette Panel.
Did you once have an Eyedropper in Titler, and now it is missing?
PS - the only Eyedropper, that I know of in PrE is in the Effects Control Panel, with some Keying Effects, like Chroma Key, where you would select the color to Key out.
Have you installed the version 9 patch? You can do so by selecting Check for Updates from the Help menu.
That may help. Also ensure you have the latest version of Quicktime from Apple.com, per the program requirements.
And, if all else fails, uninstall and reinstall the program. (You won't lose any work in progress.)
Just the man to ask. Was an Eyedropper added to Titler w/ the 9.0.1 patch?
Nope. My mistake.
The eyedropper was apparently REMOVED in version 9, for some reason. So even reinstalling won't make it appear.
Thanks for that info.
Appreciated, and, as always, "you da man!"
Thanks a lot to Bill Hunt and Steve Grisetti for very quick answers.
Bill : PE 4 is still installed on my computer, and the eyedropper appears in the Color Palette Panel and it works perfectly.
Steve : I have Quicktime latest version, I have installed the version 9 patch of PE9. I have reinstalled PE9 without any change in my problem.
If Adobe has removed the eyedropper in PE9, is it possible to contact them? Would it be technically possible to design a patch to solve the problem?
So long, pals!
Thank you Bill and Steve.
I've just contacted Adobe France by phone : the eyedropper has been removed from PE9, as well as from Photoshop Elements 9. I don't know about PE10...
No patch , no upgrade will compensate.
I'll have to make do without it!
