When the SoftKeyboard is up and the view slides out, there's an ugly black rectangle where the SoftKeyboard used to be until the slide completes.
Is there anyway to remove it programatically?
The InteractiveObject has a method of bringing it up, but I can't find one for dismissing it.
It seems there is no direct way of doing this.
However, you can setFocus() on a different display object - one that does not require keyboard input which would force it to go down.
Can you please file a bug on this? We'd love to see your test case.
You can set stage.focus = null, which will remove the focus and close the softKeyboard.
It's not a bug per se, we just lack a method to send the keyboard back once it pops up.
But the reason I need this is from a bug, I'll report that.
