Please take a look at Aaron Parker's great page: http://blog.stealthpuppy.com/deployment/deploying-adobe-reader-x/
You may also install the Administrator's Information Manager (AIM), which can be found at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83709.html and which contains the Preference Reference (a dictionary of 400 registry and plist-level preferences) and other resources. AIM requires Adobe AIR to be already installed on your computer.
Thank you for your quick reply.
I was looking for a simple help document (.chm, .hlp, .pdf, .html, ...) but the answer tells me to install either Adobe AIR or Adobe Customization Wizard X (Aaron Parker's page) to have help on Acrobat Reader X. This can't be an Adobe user friendly solution. This simply can not.
I'm a simple end user at home, not an administrator involving with a deployment strategy. I'm sorry if my question led you in a wrong direction. I really apologize.
Maybe you used the wrong word - Preferences would have been more understandable.
I could only find http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Reader/8.0/help.html?content=WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195 ff-7f84.html - there seems to be no similar document for Reader X.
