    Browser Scrolling problem

    Anakin_Jay
      Ok gang, here's the jist:

I have an application where I want to list feedback about a product. Sometimes this can be quite a few, upwards of 100 responses per item. I have everything working, but what happens is when I re-populate an element (in this case, I've tried with both a text box and another datagrid) I have two problems occur:

1.) The flex element extends to it's needed size to fill, but when it runs past the page, the browse scrollbar doesn't show up, so I have no way of scrolling down.

      and/or

2.) The other elements don't extend like a normal div or table would. It overlaps.

I'll try to draw a diagram and see if this helps..

      first load:
      -----------------------------
      -
      - box 1
      -----------------------------
      -----------------------------
      -
      - box 2
      -------------------------------

Now I need to increase the size of box1 automatically on the fly based off of how much information I need to put in it so that it would look like this:

      -----------------------------
      -
      - box 1
      -
      -
      -
      -
      -----------------------------
      -----------------------------
      -
      - box 2
      -------------------------------

but what I'm getting is this:

      -----------------------------
      -
      - box 1
      -----------------------------
      -
      - box 2
      -------------------------------
      -
      - box 1
      -------------------------------

box 2 is being overlayed instead of moving. I've tried grids, and vboxes, and all that does for me is make box 1 scroll as opposed to letting it resize and let the browser scroll the page.. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

      Thanks!
