Right now we are using Adobe Reader 9.4.5 on XP SP3 machines. The Auto-Complete feature is enabled (Edit > Preferences > Forms > Auto-Complete set to Basic) and the local file that keeps the cache of filled items is located by default in each users profile (C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\Preferences) in a file called AutoFillDefaults.dat. I tried looking around for a registry key to add that would allow for the file to be pointed to another location to referencing that file.
Registry are I was looking at is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\FormsPrefs
Does anyone know of a reg key to input to change the path location of the cached .DAT file or any other way to accomplish this?
Thank you mucho!
Looking for the same solution for Acrobat Reader X. Anyone know how to change the default cache location? It now points toC:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0
