But, on the other hand, this is not supposed to happen.
Did you had other software installed before you tried to install InDesign CS5.5?
Maybe antivirus software, or something similar? Or maybe had Firefox opened?
Personally, I disable UAC right after install.
I just don't like it poping out and giving me warnings and advices

No other programs running that I was aware of.
I did install Norton, but I paused all the firewalls and intivirus for 1 hr while I installed In Design CS 5.5
I also paused my Carbonite backup.
I disabled UAC and it loaded up with no problem...
