For what it's worth: I'm merely a hobbyist and have no production-level experience with video editing. Nor do I want it. ;-) So my use of PPro is somewhat limited. I didn't upgrade, rather I nuked my system disk from orbit and re-installed from scratch. I don't like doing OS upgrades, regardless of the OS (WindBlows, OS X, Linux, etc).
All that said: I haven't had one lick of trouble with Lion and PPro.
For me, I haven't found any bugs or limitations (yet) but have had one great improvement after upgrading to Lion- it fixed the GUI lag issue. Now, dragging clips around the timeline is super responsive. That is a HUGE relief.
Thanks Needles .. If there is anyting else .. please post it.

Just purchased 2 new imacs with lion to do basic cutting, in an attempt to get job done.
"I cant import/open .mp4 files.... not even into QT.
Also seems that the fact that Prem does not remember "modified audio channels" makes transfering projects or relinking useless.
All my hard work down the toilet.
Have re installed everything from scratch and now all is well.
Don't know why but I realised that my Adobe install went in without xdcam presets etc. and possible therefore no codecs.
When I reinstalled they were all there... go figure.
The sluggish instance/movement response I had on my mac pro 4.1 with Snow Leopard is now non existent
so I have gone from extremely sad to extremely happy.
Will start editing now and see how happy I remain.
