          this is how a basic html page should look:

          <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
          <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
          <head>

          <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">

          <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
          <title>Blackduck Lodge &amp; Resort</title>
          <style type="text/css" media="all>
          body {
              margin: 0;
              padding: 0;
              color: #000;
              background-color: #20550A;
              font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
              font-size: 100%;
              line-height: 1.4;
              background-image: url(all%20images5/background.jpg);
              background-repeat: no-repeat;
          }
          </style>
          </head>

          <body>
          </body>
          </html>

          Hope this proves helpful and good luck.
