    Brightness / Contrast

      I'm new to InDesign CS5 and am looking for brightness / contrast controls like they exist in Photoshop... advice? Thanks!

          InDesign = page layout

          Photoshop = image processing

          InDesign ≠ Photoshop

          Therefore: use Photoshop.

            ID does not have image controls of the sort you're trying to find. It's expected that you will have done your image editing prior to import.

            Before you decide that an image NEEDS further editing, make sure that you have High Quality Display enabled under View > Display Performance, and that you turn on Overprint Preview in order to get the most accurate preview possible on screen. A claiblrated and profiled monitor is essential to getting good results.
