text box size changing after appending two documents

    zomato_design

I appended a document into another (combined two documents). Both these documents have identical layouts. However, after i moved the pages of document 1 into document 2, some of the text boxes stopped showing the text - but when i increased the size of the text box, it started showing again.

The funny thing is, that the text box is sufficient in the source document. Why is the size of the text box changing when i move the pages into another document?

This is almost certainly something to do with either a master page or a style that has a different definition in the two documents. Since I can't see your doc, I don't know how big the frame was to begin with, but perhaps it's just a case of align to grid being enabled on a small frame.

In any case, when you move pages, the receiving document redefines anything coming in that has the same name (styles, swatches, master pages) but a different defintion, so you need to be a little careful.
