1. Re: selecting the link in local files
Nancy O. Sep 11, 2011 11:03 AM (in response to helennewton)I'm not sure I understand your question. To add a hyperlink to your web page:
1. Highlight some text or select an image on your page.
2. Click inside the Link Field on the HTML properties panel (Ctrl+F3).
3. Click on the folder (browse) icon next to the Link Field.
4. Select a file from your local site. Hit OK.
Does this help?

helennewton Sep 11, 2011 12:03 PM (in response to Nancy O.)Dear Nancy,
No, I did not mean that, on the right hand I have a list with all files and folders I have in my site,
I often select a file to copy the link to past it manually into the code,
When I select a file on the list (you have to click twice) then I rightclick to copy it,
the link is automatically highligted and selected but the extension (the .php or .html or whatever)
is not highligted, that mean if you copy the way it is you copy without the extension and its easy to
forget to manually write it.
In my older version of dreamweaver the whole link with its extension were selected and copied.
