This should work for you
This will find numbers with a period between them. The replace expression will replace your numbers with themselves, and the period with a comma. Because the Find expression is looking for numbers on both sides of your period, it will leave the ends of sentences alone.

It's actually sufficient to find only (\d)\.(\d) since you don't really care how many numbers are on either side of the period, you just want to be sure there's at least one on each side.
