If you switch over to Code view, do you see the images in the assets folder? also in the code itself, is there a path listed in the source attribute?
Wondering if it might be a permissions issue....
i just tried it with a blank project. My code looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
width="100%" height="100%" backgroundColor="#FFFFFF" preloaderChromeColor="#FFFFFF"
<fx:DesignLayer d:userLabel="Ebene 1">
<s:BitmapImage x="392" y="292" smooth="true"
The image is present in the assets folder: (Chrysantheme.jpg)
I can doubleclick the image-name and get a preview of it. It seems to have importet correctly.
They only two ideas that come to mind are: Did you update your Java recently? FC is built on Eclipse (which is built on Java). The other thought might be something with the user account name? Maybe since you are running a non-English version, their might be an issue with a character. Just a guess...
thank you for your suggestions! My Username does indeed contain a special character. This also means that my User's Folder Name has that special character in it. Changing my Username won't help because it won't change the folder name. It wouldn't be a good idea to change the folder name anyway, because it might create problems with other programms, right? Hm, does this mean i am stuck with the problem?
Java is up to date btw.
Not sure, since I am not a Support Engineer (nor work for Adobe). You might drop a line to the Adobe Support on this.
Maybe create a new user account without the special character, and use that for any FC work, but that is far from ideal.
Ok, i will try it with a different user. Thanks for all the help
I am having the same issue. Was this resolved?
It worked with a different User. The one it didn't work with had a special character in it's name. You might want to check that.
