    Flash size resolution

    melas076 Level 1

      I would like to know how to make flash size (width and height) full size in the browser?

      the real size of flash is w:955px h:600px

      I tried to make w:100% and h:100%, it makes pictures pixelate.

      i will appreciate your help.

          If you want your flash to take up the entire browser window and not get pixelated, you need to set some Stage attributes in flash:

          // AS 3.0

          stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

          stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;

          stage.addEventListener(Event.RESIZE, resizeHandler)

          function resizeHandler(event:Event):void {

               // make your flash the full stage height and width

              The premise is the same for AS 2, see below:

              // AS 2.0

              Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";

              Stage.align = "TL";

              this.onResize = function() {

                   // stage width and height

                   var sw = Stage.width;

                   var sh = Stage.height;

                   // do your resizing

              Good luck

                  i did resizing with :

                  sw = 100%;

                  sh =100%;

                  but the images are still pixelate, are very bad in view....

                  is there any solutions for this?

                    If your stage size change when you publish your movie makes the Flash movie larger than it was during authoring, then any bitmap graphics are going to be stretched and the result will be pixelated-looking. Bitmap graphics never look better when they are enlarged from their original size. They do maintain some level of quality when reduced, to a point.

                    If you want your movie to look good when shown at a large size, then you should create the movie at that size. Flash, nor any other display tool, cannot improve the look of bitmap graphics when they are enlarged.
