AC3 or LPCM? What camera? Are you letting the audio conform? Do your clips come in as video only (film strip icon) or as movie files (film strip + speaker icon)? Do you see waveform peaks in the sequence? Deflection in the meters? Do you hear audio from other files? What OS?
I could go on, but I think you get the picture: answering your question is pretty much impossible without information.
Thank you for your quick response. Well to be honest this is a file that has been recorded one year ago with a borrowed camera, a Canon. I do not know the version and I do not know what kind of audio settings. What I know is that at the time we were using Premiere CS3 so we converted all the videos (including this one) to .AVI since we weren't going to use HD and it all worked fine. But now I wanna edit the video and I want it in HD, so I'm using CS5, but I stumbled across this issue.
The sequence doesn't display any audio settings at all. And the video file pretty much works fine in any other player, and has the audio settings included. Either way I'm going to show you two screenshots that might help. Oh and, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Reinstallation fixed the problem. Thanks.
