1. Re: Can't export H.264 with integer (little endian) audio
Colin Brougham Sep 15, 2011 2:36 PM (in response to joewilde)Premiere Pro's QuickTime exporter always uses little endian when exporting uncompressed audio. If you need confirmation, export a snippet and then use MediaInfo to verify.

joewilde Sep 15, 2011 2:43 PM (in response to Colin Brougham)The strange thing is that it wont let me adjust the bit rate??? Any ideas there?

4. Re: Can't export H.264 with integer (little endian) audio
Colin Brougham Sep 15, 2011 4:56 PM (in response to joewilde)You can't adjust the bitrate. You probably don't need to adjust the bitrate. If the specs you received say "156kbps," then that's a typo. With almost 100% certainty, that should say "1536kbps." That's what you'll get when you export as QuickTime with uncompressed audio.
If you need a lower bitrate, export as above, and then process the audio again in QuickTime Pro or MPEG Streamclip. But I'm willing to bet you don't need that.

joewilde Sep 15, 2011 5:30 PM (in response to Colin Brougham)That is bang on the money!
Thank you Colin, I was hoping that either you, Haarm or Bill would respond as I know that the three of you are a wealth of information/knowledge and all three take time out of your busy day to pass knowledge on so selflessly.
One other question, exporting integer (as is requested), is this the "uncompressed" option in Prem CS5?
Thanks so much Colin, I have been running through many different scenarios with several different programs and this has been a massive waste of time all because of a typo (on their part) you have saved me a ton of time!!

That's correct. To be honest, I don't know the specifics of integer vs. floating point, big-endian vs. little-endian, signed vs. unsigned--but I'm pretty sure that the audio exported from Premiere Pro will satisfy the requirements placed before you.
Hope that helps
