Bump. This problem is really bugging me and occurs quite often. I've tested the PDFs with various versions of Reader and Acrobat Pro....same results. Many buttons/images simply won't appear when you get to that page.
Version of InDesign?
I don't know how etiquette is on the forums that you frequent, but
personally I consider "bump"-ing to be discourteous, and it discourages me
from spending my effort on your problem. If your "bump" manages to
avoid using the word "bump" and contributes additional information to
the problem, I would view that more favorably (but if it looks like
you're just posting to bump your post, that's still bad. More
favorable, but still not good). On the other hand, if you bump it
twice, that's far worse than bumping it once.
That's just my opinion. I'm not a moderator or anything.
Well I AM a moderator, and I don't oject to a single bump -- I've forgotten to post something in many a thread, abnd often I notice if I respond to something that nobody else has touched, even to say I can't help, that gets the ball rolling.
That said, a daily bump is a bit much. If nobody has had anything to say after the first one, it's a good bet there is not going to be a reason to bump again.
There is a bug in Acrobat / Reader 10.1.1
Basically if you want a graphical rollover state in your .pdf buttons ( authored in InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat etc etc etc ), it will not work until the bug is fixed !
This problem is separate from the button rollover bug and I've yet to find any info that there's a fix in the works. It's been happening way before 10.1.1
Anyone experience this problem with the show/hide command?
I am having the same issue right now. I using using the latest versions of both InDesign and Acrobat and the show/hide feature is not working on certain buttons. The program recognizes the button but nothing appears when clicked. The odd thing is that it appears on iPads but not desktops.
Anyone have a patch for this?
