He does pop in very occasionally. Shame I miss his post as well.

Same here. I also miss Kevin French, Japi Honoo, Brian Baker, Kim
Cavanaugh, Kleanthis Economou, Mark Haynes, and too many others. :-(

Wow, you mean none of these people are around anymore. I hope it is because
they have moved on to bigger and better things and that they're ok.

Traitors they are... all of them! ;-)

Kim Cavanaugh is still around sometimes and Kleanthis is still alive...
but they do not frequent these forums anymore. Too bad really.

It's definitely *our* loss, but perhaps not theirs.... 8(

I chat with Japi once in a blue moon. She has a kid now and is doing her
digital images mostly. No web work anymore.
                    She seems happy.

Ah, stop it, Linda. I'm beginning to feel like an old dinosaur remembering
that names from a completely different era

What do we deduce from this mass exodus of talent . . . ?

It seems like apart from Linda all the gurus are gone. There must be a
                          reason.

The beginning and ending timestamps should give some fair indication of how many ripples in the pond this took to reach me, but it still made me smile.

Still around, still kicking, and most of the side-effects of the alien abduction have worn off, so I'm not all that much stranger than I was to start with (oooh that just didn't come out the way it should have).

Drifted away from web-related things to LAN work, but I might be swinging back around sometime next year.

Oddly enough, I found the original post in this thread while was tracking down a friend from a previous life. I guess life is just one big circle after all.... whoodathunk?

Along the way I fell down a rather pleasant rabbit hole that I didn't realize had already been frequented by one of the repeat posters on the dreamweaver and webdevbiz forums.... more circles.

Thanks for thinking of me... leave a candle in the window for me (just not too close to the curtains )

Yeah... I miss all you guys too, if that isn't already obvious.

                            All the best,
