Whenever I work on a new project, in a new folder, I find that the default directory for exporting media from a sequence is the old folder from the previous project. In other words, the last place I exported. I often don't notice this, and wonder where my file ended up.
Is there any way to make it default to the same folder as the project file, instead?
I'm using Premiere Pro CS5.
PrPro remembers where you did your last Export to, and offers that as the option.
I create a "Finsihed AVI," and "Finished AC3" (for my Projects) in the Project File's hierarchy, and just choose those for Export.
I believe this is a function of the Operating System. PP simply calls up the window, but the OS manages it.
