I got this InDesign document here with some graphs I generated with Adobe Illustrator. The problem is though, every time my data changes, because of Illustrator's difficult and backwards graphs tool, I have to recreate all my graphs from scratch.
So I was thinking, would it be feasible creating these graphs in Flash with AS3 instead? Could I generate them based on data from an external XML file? Would I still be able to load them into InDesign and ultimately export them to PDF?
If so, can anybody recommend a clean, DRY and object literal solution / tutorial?
Check with fusion charts component. google "Fusion Charts"
Cool - but on a more general level - will I be able to load Flash AS3 graphs into InDesign and ultimately export them to PDF?
