    Facilitating distribution for slower retailers

    Vettriano

Many of our retailers who already sell print titles through their online bookstore would like to start selling eBooks, but cannot offer DRM to protect our eBooks.

What is the cost of pre-securing EPUB and PDF files prior to sending them on to these retailers, and how easy is it for the retailer to receive these encrypted files and sell them from their site - or act as a wholesaler and redistribute them to their customers?

Our primary concern is losing print sales through file sharing of unsecured eBook files - we are not overly concerned with print restrictions.

Be grateful for advice here. Thanks.
