    Getting seriously flipped of with flash

      Hi,

      I have been working on this button for a few days now, was meant to take a morning but I am having real problems.

      Just now my code looks like this

      //Sets up variables
      var x = 0;
      var text = "Rolledover";
      // Used for testing
      stop();
      this.onRollOver = function() {
      if (_root.state == "") {
      if (x == 0) {
      text = "rollover";
      trace(text);
      gotoAndPlay(2);
      }
      }
      };
      //Goes back to frame 1 if not selected
      this.onRollOut = function() {
      if (_root.state ="") {
      if (x == 0) {
      gotoAndPlay(1);
      }
      }
      };
      //Checks if option has been pressed already
      this.onPress = function() {
      if (_root.state == "") {
      if (x == 0) {
      x = 1;
      getURL("start");
      text = "selected";
      trace(text);
      gotoAndPlay(8);
      } else {
      getURL("finished");
      x = 0;
      gotoAndPlay(14);
      text = "Not Selected";
      trace(text);
      }
      }
      };

      In the first frame on the main timeline I have

      state = "";

      Now I am having authorware pass this across to flash to hopefully disable the buttons

      CallSprite(@idarray[x], #setvariable, "_root.state", "hello")

      The problem is this does not work and the highlights for the flash are even wrong staying up all the time.

      Any Help Mucho Apreciated.

      Chris
