No idea, but try copying it to the InDesign/fonts folder and see if that helps.
Did you install the Bold weight? Word will fake it, ID will not.
Thanks for the tip. I tried your suggestion, and it worked! I have two computers, which I set up identically. One only shows the Korinna bold and bold-italic, the other shows only regular and bold-italic, in InDesign. Copying all the Korinna files (KOR.TTF, KORI.TTF,KORIB.TTF,KORBI.TTF) to InDesign’s fonts folder made all available on both computers. I found another similar glitch with ITC Stones Sans font (a licensed font I’d paid for), which was resolved in the same fashion. Hopefully, there won’t be too many like these. Any idea what the cause is for this?
Yes, I installed 4 Korinna files (Kor.ttf, Korb.ttf, Kori.ttf, Korbi.ttf). They show up in Control Panel > Fonts. Also I bought a font manager (Printers Apprentice) that shows all of them installed. I was setting up two identical computers, and InDesign recognizes Korinna regular & bold-italic on one, and Korinna bold & bold-italic on the other. Copying all Korinna files to the InDesign Fonts folder (Program Files > Adobe > InDesign > Fonts) solved the problem. But it seems very strange and random, which fonts InDesign wants to acknowledge.
