This is crazy.
These are AVI files in CS5.5 that have been used for over 10 years in other versions of Premiere.
If I double click on the Monitor when the video is paused, the color corrects to original. Play again and crazy green color and lines.
Now, if I play the clip without double clicking on the monitor window, the clip will play out green and pause green, but if I double click in the monitor window, the video will correct in pause, but still play out green.
Here's one AVI file:
Type: AVI Movie

Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
Total Duration: 00;01;57;00

Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.9091

Nvidia graphics card? Set the 3D settings to "Let the application decide" and the lines will disappear.
Is the problem because I did not have the monitor setting to DISPLAY BOTH FIELDS?
I'd be happy if these "problems" are solved so easily. Scared a bit about clicking around settings.
nVidia card? Go to the nVidia Control Panel and set the 3D quality settings to "Let the application decide". If you have an ATI card there should be similar settings there.
I have NVIDA GeForce 8400 GS
Yeah, it's not because of desplay both fields. Still there, just a bit "harder" to see.
NVIDIA Control Panel WILL NOT open.
I'm at Windows Control Panel and double clicking away at NVIDIA Icon and nothing.
If the video looks okay paused, it's most likely that you don't have current drivers for your display card.
OK, thanks. Any tips on how I can get my NVIDIA Control panel to open?
I had the NVIDIA Control Panel turned off at Win Services (Damn Black Viper
The video is now looking good.
Huge thanks. I never, ever would have figured this out by myself.
Still can't get the Page Up/Dn to work properly on the imported Sequence timline.
Any tips for that. I need the Up/Dn thingy and would redo the program to get it back.
Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you.
