Downloaded Captivate 5, but also running Captivate 4

Is it possible to disable CP5, as all my files are in version 4 and I still need to use version 4 but it now alwys opens in 5 until i select "Open With"

You can have both Cp4 and Cp5 running on the same system.

Cp4 uses .cp files whereas Cp5 uses .cptx

Instead of trying to disable Cp5 you should look into setting up your file associations inside the Windows operating system so that when you double-click a .cp file it will only open with Cp4.

Try Googling this: windows file associations windows 7 (or whatever your OS is)
