This works bit when pasting in new data the whole column reverts to superscript?? grrrr
This suggests that there is nothing wrong with your styling, but rather one of these two possibilities:
1. You have selected your superscript character style with no text selected, and therefore set it as the new default. Deselect everything and check what the character panel says.
2. If you delete all of the text in your old text frame, the superscript character style is still active as the "current" style applied to the text.
Appy Style: Superscript (create a style for this)
To Text: £
Thanks... yes seems to work better if I delete the exising data before pasting the new data... however the first (top) cell now is all superscript?
Is this just the text attribute 'superscript', or is it your actual character style? Does it revert to normal if you remove the GREP style?
Not sure :-/ The GREP is working but the first cell is making all the characters superscript? The remaining are fine - when I turn GREP off on, same occurs...
