soundTransform doesn't effect local video in VideoDisplay in Air

      I am having trouble applying a soundTransform to a s:videoDisplay component in Air. I need to be able push the audio to one channel or the other, so I can't just use myVideoDisplay.volume. If I were streaming the video, I believe I could apply the soundTransform to the netStream, but was hoping to simply be able to create a soundTransform and assign it to the videoPlayer instance, as is shown below:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

      <s:WindowedApplication xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"

                             xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

                             xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"

                             creationComplete="init();">

          <fx:Script>

              <![CDATA[

                  private function init():void {

                      var soundTx:SoundTransform = new SoundTransform(1, -1);

                      video.soundTransform = soundTx;

                  }

              ]]>

          </fx:Script>

          <s:VideoDisplay id="video" source="assets/videos/attract.f4v"/>

      </s:WindowedApplication>

      This should pan the audio left, but it has no effect. Is there some other target for the soundTransform? Is this a bug? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

      Regards,

      Dave
