I have an interview with my father from 1991 that I edited in Premiere 8 and would like to share with my brothers and sisters
most of whom have DVD players. I have read Bill Hunts tips on using the best media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden and a slower burn speed using IMG Burn to help guarantee play back but I was wondering if using an archival quality disk would help, such as Verbatims archival product?
It should. But I'd create a test disc first and see if it plays on your siblings' DVD players before I bought a whole big pack of them.
Along with those two mentioned brands, Falcon Pro blank media is getting great reviews, and many feel that it exceeds both Verbatim & T-Y. As I buy in bulk, I still have a bunch of Verbatim (DVD-9's) and T-Y's (DVD-5's), so have not tested the Falcon Pro media, but do trust several of those, who have. Just another option for you.
