We have a few different editors working on Premiere CS5 and Final Cut. We have some scene file projects in Premiere that were sound synched in one large sequence and then cut into the main sequence timeline from the sound-synch timeline.
Is there a "replace with original" type tool or utility that will create a new sequence based on the original video and sound files? (The Final Cut editor says that he can't work with the resulting reference timeline.)
If I'm understanding you correctly, in Premiere you can right click on a video clip in your project bin, and choose "New Sequence from Clip," and this will create a new sequence matching your video's res, frame rate and audio specs.
If I'm understanding you correctly
Man, I sure didn't.
