    Remove white space above sliced webpage

    Carina3001
      I'm searching for an answer on how to remove the white
      space I always get above the webpage after I sliced my template I made in photoshop.

      I have a design, made in Photoshop
      I slice it in fireworks
      I export the files as html and images
      I open the page in the browser and then there always is a white space at the top.

      How do I remove this?

          Link to an external stylesheet (using DW's CSS editor), or embed a
          stylesheet in your code (between <head> and </head>) with the following
          style in it (embedded shown for cut-n-paste convenience) (assuming you want
          zero margins) -

          <style type="text/css">
          <!--
          body { margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0; margin-left: 0;
          padding:0; }
          -->
          </style>
          (when the value is zero, units are not required)

          you could also try

          body { margin: 0 0 0 0; padding:0; }

          or

          body { margin: 0; padding:0; }

          as a shorthand method.

          This will take care of the margins in IE4+ and NN6+.

            if you go to the options window in export, click the table tab. there fireworks select by default "1pixel transparent spacer" in the space with selectbox. If you change that you don't have the spacer.
            Hope that works for you
