I have doubt regarding printing of PDF documents. I have a PDF with a 300 dpi image in it. I understand that the viewer resolution is 72 pixels per inch and that is the resolution at which it renders the PDF on the screen. So the 300 dpi image is downsampled and displayed. My doubt is when we print from the reader, how does the reader give the image to be printed? Does it give the downsampled one or the original 300 dpi one?
