We're trying to come up with a way to upgrade Flash on our Windows 2008 Terminal Server without granting user's Admin permissions. Is there a 'best practive' way to do this? We don't have alot of users on the Terminal Server and we could remote in and install the updates while the user is logged on however this is not the easiest way for us to go. I'm assuming it's a per-user installation and the updates have to be installed for each user. Am I correct?
you could apply for a distribution license: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=distribution_form
this will allow remote installation of the Flash Player. when your application is approved, you should be sent a link to the distributable msi file and documentation. most IT departments will set up a group policy file to roll out the install.
