The Flash Player 11 Release Candidate didn't have the "Flash Player 11.0 Projector" or "Flash Player 11.0 Projector content Debugger" so the only way to test it is via Your browser, now that the Release version is out You can download both players from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html and replace the corresponding Players in Your Flash CS5.5 program folder, that way You can debug without launching the browser.
yes I replaced all players in Adobe Flash CS5.5 > Players Folder
but my problem is that when I compile .swf (Ctrl+Enter), the players version is 10,2,153,2 and when I debug debuggers version is 11,0,1,152
what I am missing...???
Thanks : ))
I've got the same issue.
Configured everything, replaced all players everywhere with new 11.0 ones:
Flash Professional CS 5.5 (188.8.131.529)
So far triple checked that all players are 11.0.
It seems that the player that Adobe Flash uses for testing is not the Flash Player Projector located at /Players/Release/ but some internal IDE player You can check out this by using this code:
If You use Debug Export Your output will be:
If You Test normally Your output will be something like:
Seems to be a known issue You can read more about it on Antonio Holguin's post:
The problem is that even when You change the Flash Player 11.0, Projector it wont use it when you hit cmd + enter, you can even delete that player and Flash will still export to this "External" Player.
I will comtinue investigating on this issue and share with you any findings.
What I did so far was search for all NPSWF32.dll I could find (on Win 7 SP1x64).
Checked their versions in 'Details' - there are many, but not one is 10,2,153,2 exactly.
Hardcoded into Flash Professional itself? Would be really stupid.
Still looking for solution.
...and it seems it's unupdatable. Looks like some people tore apart Flash IDE looking for where it can sit and found nothing.
Great... sitting and waiting for teh update.
Where is Adobe Support......???
I have tried to fix this but got nowhere close to do it, guess we'll have to wait for an update/fix/response from Adobe.
thats too bad : (((((((((
no any news about this issue ??!! :|
I have met the same problem. I am using Flash CS5.0 with starling framework
I set up everything for FP11.
And now, debugger mode work really fine, but common test movie still give me error on no finding Stage3D class.
I did replace the standalone exe player
So, really alfter hitting "CTRL + Enter", Flash IDE use something internal? Will that thing be updatable? I dont believe the product manager of Flash Pro would never thought that there would be new versions of FP which requires a change for the test runtime.
Anyway, I am using the debugger mode for the rest of the project.
I am intresting Adobe's answer........ !!!!!
