Im quite new to AE and have maybe some basic question.
How can I avoid that ugly blocking on final render of video. When I save RAM preview it is all perfect clear but once rendering final is ugly when is some camera zoom or more movement there is "blocking" how I believe this is called.
It is possible to avoid it when I want to render in H.264 or AVI format, as i need smaller file size for You Tube ?
or what are best settings ( I know that then the final render video will be huge file)
thanks a lot in advance
PS. sorry for my bad english
I can only guess about what you're referring to as "blocking". I'm guessing that you're referring to the blocky compression artifacts that you get when using MPEG-based compression schemes to make very small files.
In general, smaller files are accomplished by throwing away a lot of image information, so the quality is not as good. Some codecs (encoders) are better than others at preserving important image information during compression, but the same general truth still applies.
If you need a small file for distribution, then you will need to accept some decrease in quality.
If, however, you need a higher-quality image for other purposes (such as in the intermediate stages of post-production), then you can use a lossless codec.

Yes I thought that. Thanks a lot for your answer Todd
