Well I found this on the Flash Player debug download page (http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html):
- "10/3/11 - Updated debugger (aka debug players or content debuggers) and standalone (aka projector) versions of Flash Player 11.0 are available for Flash Builder 4, Flash Catalyst, Flash Professional CS4, and Flash Professional CS5 users"
I tried installing the standalone player available there, but after placing it in the proper Flash Pro CS5 directory at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5\Players, the standalone player launched by Flash Professional CS5 still won't work with FP11 Stage 3D content. I still get the VerifyError:
"Error #1014: Class flash.display3D.textures::Texture could not be found."
I am using Away3D 4.0.
Oh well. Guess I'll just have to keep viewing it in the browser for now :-(
i think it's work but i don't know how to do.
i have the same result than cebnv. It works with publish preview html but not standalone. I have this error :
VerifyError: Error #1014: La classe flash.display3D::Context3D could not be found.
if u have the solution give us please.
Ran into the same issue in Flash Pro CS 5.5. Someone from Adobe please provide guidance for Flash Pro CS users...
This is the closest thing I get:
However, I still have no success. All other stage3d document from Adobe seems to only talk about Flash Builder and no coverage in Flash Pro....
it's like the wmode="gpu" is missing with the standalone player.
I tried today with flash builder and it works. You can use the debugger with flash 11.
There will be a release for flash CS5.5 in the futur. Keep in mind that adding some 3D was probably a
titanic works for adobe devs. They need some months to get their strengh back now.
Hi Guys - has there been any progress getting Stage3D apps to build on Flash Pro CS5.5?
I can get my code to compile but get the runtime error:
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.display3D.textures::Texture could not be found.
Or do I have to resign to use Flash Builder or wait for the next release of Flash Pro...
I at one point managed to get the test player working (ctrl+enter) from within CS5.5
However I have another laptop and haven't been able to get this working, following documentation from a multitude of sources. So just to put perspective on this - it's possible to do it, but I don't actually know the exact procedure required in order to get this working. If anyone else has a clue, please post, this question seems to be generally unanswered and a solution would be valuable.
