1. Re: Are these parts ok for a premiere pro system(editing mostly dslr footage)?
Harm Millaard Oct 11, 2011 3:44 AM (in response to Jussic)PSU looks very underpowered. Check here: eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
Get the Pro version, set system load to 100% and capacitor aging to 30% and add 10 - 15% for safety and you know what wattage and amperage you need on each rail.
Consider getting a bigger tower. Better cooling, expansion capabilities, cable management and easier installation.

2. Re: Are these parts ok for a premiere pro system(editing mostly dslr footage)?
Jussic Oct 11, 2011 4:08 AM (in response to Harm Millaard)Thanks.
Checked the psu calculator and got 525W(capacitor aging set 20%). That's pretty close. Maybe I should get the 650w version(If I can change it since it's a prebuild system with a warranty)?
I'm thinking maybe adding a drive or two in the future and possibly a black-magic or aja card if I need better monitoring. I think the fractal design case is ok for that. And it comes with these fans: 1 x Scythe Slip Stream 120mm, 2 x Fractal Design 120mm, 1 x Thermalright X-Silent 140mm. Is that enough cooling?

3. Re: Are these parts ok for a premiere pro system(editing mostly dslr footage)?
Harm Millaard Oct 11, 2011 4:19 AM (in response to Jussic)525W (with 20% capaciptor aging) plus 10 - 15% for safety adds up to around 600W, add a PCI card and a couple of disks and use 30% capacitor aging instead of 20% and it looks like 750W is OK.
The fans in the Fractal Design are OK, but the lack of space for a good airflow, especially after adding some more disks and a BM or AJA card, may well become problematic. Take a look at the XL version.

Jussic Oct 11, 2011 4:39 AM (in response to Harm Millaard)Ok, one more question. Which one would you pick?
XFX Core Edition PRO 750W http://xfxforce.com/en-gb/Products/PSU/Pro-Series/750W-PSU.aspx?product=34617
Super Flower Golden Green Pro 750W http://www.super-flower.de/index.php?id=97
Corsair TX 750 V2 750W http://www.corsair.com/power-supply-units/enthusiast-series-power-supply-units/enthusiast- series-tx750-v2-80-plus-bronze-certified-750-watt-high-performance-power-supply.html
These are all in the same price range(95-105€) with 60 months of warranty.

5. Re: Are these parts ok for a premiere pro system(editing mostly dslr footage)?
Harm Millaard Oct 11, 2011 6:09 AM (in response to Jussic)This one: http://www.silentrig.com/product/385/corsair-ax-750w
You don't want to skimp on the PSU, even with 60 months guarantee, because hangs, mysterious errors, corrupted data and exchanging the PSU are a huge PITA.

RjL190365 Oct 11, 2011 6:54 AM (in response to Jussic)Between those three, the XFX or the Corsair (both based on the same Sea Sonic-manufactured platform). The AX750 that Harm recommended (which is of higher quality thanks to it being based on a higher-end Sea Sonic platform) turns out to be well above your stated price range. The Super Flower is of lower quality.
Nonetheless, if you can afford the €150+ price of the AX750, then go for it.
